No pumpkins, witches or black cats but instead five haunting fashion films, which will both delight and scare you senseless.
For this Halloween Veuve Clicquot has produced a very stylish and glamorous Halloween experience in collaboration with photographer and SHOWstudio founder Nick Knight.
‘A Beautiful Darkness’ is a nod to freedom of expression around Halloween, celebrating the arts and creative community worldwide. Film, illustration, art and interactive installations will be presented; including work of Lady Amanda Harlech, taxidermist Rose Robson and fashion designer Gareth Pugh.
Nick Knight: “It is an honour to have been chosen to front the first ever Veuve Clicquot Widow Series. I feel that both Veuve Clicquot and I are aligned in the wish to champion new ways of displaying fashion, and particularly fashion film. I founded SHOWstudio to be the home of fashion film and it’s exciting to see how many talented creatives are embracing it, a selection of whom will contribute to this very special occasion. I hope ‘A Beautiful Darkness’ will be a truly unique cultural event that will offer attendees a new way of seeing fashion and art as well as proposing a beautiful new dark aesthetic to celebrate Halloween.”
We are excited to experience Halloween in a different and cultural way.
Book your tickets at www.veuveclicquotwidowseries.co.uk and check it out on the 29th at ‘The College’, 12-42 Southampton Row, London, W1CB 4AP.
