Remember when you’d get a temporary tattoo from a packet of gum as a kid and proudly display this somewhat half-assed mess for days as proof of your fictional membership of what you perceived the grown up world to be? Back then they’d invariably be pretty dodgy renderings of the most basic flash art. All that has changed with a new range of temporary tattoos from Fickle, which are so good you may very well decide to make them permanent. Some of the unique artwork available to purchase in tattoo form includes this Lucky Rabbit by Charlotte Farmer and designs from London artist Damien Weighill, well known for his witty illustrative greetings cards, who has contributed Newton’s Cradle. Critically acclaimed Barcelona based illustrator Gregori Saavedra has also provided the illusory Buttearfly and Centipede tattoos, whilst Central St. Martin’s graduate Harriet Russell adds to the humorous nature of the range with Clueless Crossword.

Fickle designs work as any usual temporary tattoo would. Just choose your favourite design, place the tattoo on the body and cover with a wet cloth; pull back to reveal a design that will remain in place for up to 7 days. Every tattoo is sold in a pack of two, and they are completely non-toxic and therefore safe for sensitive skin.
With prices starting at just £5 for a pack of two, this is also super reasonable way to test drive a design if you’re jonesing for a permanent tattoo but still dithering about placement and curious what ink looks like on your skin.

Fickle have been collaborating with the most inventive illustrators from across Europe for more than a year and their designs reflect this. The range represents what they are about, and, like the way you wear the tattoos, will be constantly changing. They hope to make temporary tattoos a fun and easy accessory which you can change from one day to the next.
