Na Di has not sat still after graduating from Central St Martin’s and London College of Fashion, but is already leaving a mark on the fashion world with her unique self- made designs.

Calling on many different aspects, her designs are inspired by music, cartoons and her parents’ artistic background. She manages combining touches of hip-hop styling and haute couture fashion, which results in fun loving, unique designs incorporating bold colours and shapes, embroidery and appliqué detailing which remain very particular to her. An innate attention to detail goes hand in hand with a high level of quality.

A lot of special things are happening this season. For instance, Na Di has focussed on an interpretation of the classic gentleman and the series wouldn’t be complete without her signature co- ordinated suits. Na Di was inspired by her university professor and the film ‘The Theory Of Everything’, putting together traditional tailoring with stationary-inspired designs. The combination of classic menswear infused with clashing prints lead to an intriguing and pleasing line.

As an ambitious designer Na Di likes to challenge herself and in this collection she has put forward some new skills. One of those is visible in her sweaters where she applied a complex reversible knitting technique, creating a sweater that can also be worn inside out, since the colours on the inside oppose their exterior. In the details of her clothing she has developed even more sophisticated embroidery techniques and imitated hand embroidery effects. She has also introduced cashmere into this collection. Next to her one-of-a-kind modern style and designs, she prides herself on the fine craft that is visible in each product.

For Na Di’s fourth season Kim Howells is acting as creative consultant and stylist. Howells, a former assistant to Nicola Formichetti, also styles shows for David Koma, Zandra Rhodes, Piers Atkinson and Fred Butler, so the future is definitely looking bright for Na Di Studio.
